Bringing its All-American denim staples to the heart of le Marais, the brand opened a magnificent flagship for a <strong>one year period<\/strong>, <strong>to test the Paris market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative was led by <strong>Chris Igwe<\/strong>, President of Chris Igwe International and co-founder of MoreorLess, whose core business is optimizing brand development strategies. It was also important for 7 For All Mankind to be present in a landscape of big, busy international brands.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reach new customers;\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"il\">7<\/span> For <span class=\"il\">All<\/span> <span class=\"il\">Mankind<\/span> was focused on attracting the <em>right<\/em> customers to its pop-up store<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_they_choose_to_open_a_short-term_store\"><\/span>Why they choose to open a short-term store:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While waiting to find the ideal long-term space, <span class=\"il\">7<\/span> For <span class=\"il\">All<\/span> <span class=\"il\">Mankind<\/span> decided to test the market and the neighborhood with a pop-up store first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;If we had to rank in order of priority the expectations of the brand <span class=\"il\">7<\/span> For <span class=\"il\">All<\/span> <span class=\"il\">Mankind<\/span> by opening this short-term shop it would be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brand awareness<\/strong>; the brand wanted to be know by Parisians by physically being present in their daily lives with a store<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It also wanted <strong>to reach a high-end clientele<\/strong>; a customer who likes to indulge themselves and who likes the fit jeans, as well as the valuess of the brand.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lastly, <strong>to achieve profitability<\/strong> of course!&#8221;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_are_the_problems_faced_by_an_American_brand_that_launches_in_the_French_market\"><\/span>What are the problems faced by an American brand that launches in the French market?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><p dir=\"ltr\">There are many problems to pay attention to:<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, it\u2019s difficult for an American brand to <strong>understand the organization and structure of the French real estate market<\/strong>, plus the <strong>fees of real estate agents<\/strong> are much higher than elsewhere. In comparison, we are talking about 30% of rent in France against 10% of rent in the United Kingdom, for example.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p dir=\"ltr\">Another thing to keep in mind is that some brands are born in a <strong>shopping center<\/strong>, but in France, not <span class=\"il\">all<\/span> centers have the same quality. This is another point that needs to be explained to foreign brands..<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lastly_what_are_the_main_strategies_of_7_for_all_Mankind_to_build_buzz_in_Paris\"><\/span>Lastly, what are the main strategies of <span class=\"il\">7<\/span> for <span class=\"il\">all<\/span> <span class=\"il\">Mankind<\/span> to build buzz in Paris?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The location was very important. Also, opening a physical store allowed its customers &#8211; or future customers &#8211; to try on the jeans before they buy.
