Popular venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn:Storefront With Apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn ; Storefront With Kitchen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Williamsburg is a thriving, vibrant part of town known for live entertainment, lively bars, high-end restaurants, and plenty of shopping opportunities. Initially home primarily to Hasidic Jews throughout the 90s, today its a bustling destination for tourists looking for a more artistic alternative to Manhattan.
An ephemeral commercial space can open for a single day or several weeks, even months. A flexible space rental does not commit you to a permanent lease and allows you to connect with customers, offer a unique consumer experience or validate the potential of a Brooklyn neighbourhood while benefiting from great adaptability.
Storefront's selection of spaces in Williamsburg covers a large range of use cases, such as pop up stores, showrooms, art galleries and event venues.
The neighbourhood of Williamsburg is the perfect place to organize your event. It is one of the busiest districts of Brooklyn with good foot traffic, a clientele of international consumers, and surroundings full of fashion retailers and flagship stores.
The district of Williamsburg, which draws a crowd eager for discovering new products, is full of exclusive gallery-ready venues available for rent from a few days to a couple of months: industrial workshops, old warehouses, apartments etc. Spotlights? Steel pillars? Tiled flooring? Whether you are looking for opulent, comfortable or compact spaces, you are guaranteed to find on Storefront the most suitable flexible venue for the event you are organizing.
The main retail area is along the northern part of Bedford Avenue. You’ll find clothing shops, vintage furniture, music stores, gift shops, and more. Grand Street is another popular shopping area, featuring a variety of unique retails shops. In true hipster fashion, most stores on Grand don’t open until 11 am.
Also, don’t forget Williamsburg’s Artists & Fleas market, which hosts a variety of booths, typically featuring fashion, art, small gifts, crafts, and other one-of-a-kind treasures. It’s located at 70 North 7th Street. They’re open from 11 am to 6 pm every Saturday and Sunday.
Along those same lines, you’ll find no shortage of thrift and vintage stores throughout Williamsburg. L Train Vintage is one of the most famous, located along Knickerbocker Avenue. During the summer, you can also find Brooklyn Flea, a large outdoor market located on the patio of the Williamsburg Hotel.
As you might expect for Brooklyn, rent here isn’t particularly cheap, although some affordable retail options are available.
Your cheapest options typically start around $395 per day. At 1,400 square feet, the spaces in this price range are suitable for a small boutique or retail shop. You’ll find many clothing and art stores in storefronts of this size.
Some of the more expensive lease options are found near well-known locations, such as McCarren Park, where 1,000 square feet of pop-up retail space runs around $1,000 per day.
Keep in mind space is at a premium throughout the neighborhood. While you can find some larger retail spots with 20,000 square feet of space, most locations for rent will have square footage in the lower to mid-hundreds.
