About this space

Uniquely located on Looiersgracht, along one of the canals in Amsterdam’s premier gallery district, a former industrial building (built in 1902) is ready to fulfil its new purpose.

The building was recently renovated by architect Moriko Kira, whose design was nominated for the prestigious ‘De Lensvelt

/ De Architect Interior Award’ for 2011. The idea was to preserve the building’s industrial shell while going beyond the current ‘white cube’ convention in gallery design.

The multi- functional space can be divided into different rooms, depending on the needs of the event concerned, e.g. symposiums, concerts, lec- tures, conferences, (film) presentations, and meetings. Prices are available upon request.
