Design Vintage Launched a London Showroom on King’s Road

Design Vintage, a retailer known for its curated mix of vintage furniture and modern homewares, launched a London showroom on the iconic King’s Road in Chelsea.

The space allowed the brand to bring its carefully sourced collection to one of London’s most design-focused retail neighborhoods. With strong foot traffic and a reputation for interior and lifestyle boutiques, the location gave Design Vintage an opportunity to connect with customers who value craftsmanship, character and well-designed spaces.

The showroom occupied more than 5,000 square feet across two floors, creating an open and industrial-feeling environment that complemented the brand’s eclectic product mix.

Located opposite Chelsea Town Hall on King’s Road, the space stood out as a prominent destination for furniture and interior design enthusiasts.

Inside, Design Vintage showcased its collection of carefully sourced vintage furniture alongside hard-to-find homeware brands including Tine K Home, Dash & Albert, House Doctor and Bloomingville, as well as smaller European labels.

The showroom format allowed customers to experience the pieces in person — something particularly important for furniture and interiors, where materials, scale and craftsmanship are best appreciated in a physical setting.

Design Vintage began as a small Brighton shop founded by interiors enthusiast Lisa Brass. Over time, the brand grew into a well-known destination for vintage furniture, modern homewares, gifts and accessories.

With a showroom already established in Chichester and a strong online presence, the brand built a loyal customer base across the UK and internationally.

London became a natural next step, as demand from customers in the city continued to grow.

 Opening a showroom in London

Working with Storefront to secure the King’s Road space, founder Lisa Brass described the London showroom as an opportunity to bring the brand closer to its audience.

“It’s something I had wanted to do for a long time,” she explained. “After the success of the Chichester showroom, our online brand and numerous requests to open a showroom in the city, it felt like the obvious move.”

The London showroom allowed Design Vintage to present its full collection while introducing new pieces and brands to customers visiting the space.

For furniture and interiors brands in particular, showrooms can provide a powerful bridge between online retail and in-person discovery.
